Parents

Make a

Difference!

We are pleased with our joint partnership with parents. They play a vital role as counselors and advisors to their children.

Our students come from rural areas where access to primary education can be difficult. By sending their children to primary school, the parents have shown they value education.

Parents monitor their child’s health and well-being at school and supplement the basic supplies we provide. They meet with teachers once a term on visiting days at the boarding schools and actively participate in student career decisions.

As we choose our students for Senior One, parents again voice their support of education. Once a year in January, we have a general meeting; parents attend with their child and together we work through the challenges of the year.

This is a cooperative venture that we value. This approach is the Alcholi way of working together.
